Rafael Silva is not only an amazing soccer star but he is a doting brother as well. As soon as his elder twin left Man U & joined up with erstwhile United striker Solskjaer, the younger Silva contacted Ole and asked him to be careful with his brother.
Much to the dismay of Man U fans, David Moyes has already confirmed that one of their most favorite stars Fabio has already moved towards Cardiff City. He would be joining Ole at Wales.
The Brazilian twin duo came to Old Trafford first as teens. It was the elder Silva aka Fabio who has always been held high as the more powerful, a full back free scoring who spearheaded Brazil under-17 squad. But post retirement of Neville (Gary), the younger Rafael was offered the opportunity to dazzle while the other twin was in shadow of Evra (Patrice).
Fabio didn’t come up against his former squad in the 2-0 win against Bluebirds. However, Rafael reportedly asked Solsjkaer to take care of his brother.
“Rafael came to me post match & asked me to look after his elder twin Fabio”, noted the Norwegian chief. “Apparently Rafael came to the world after Fabio”, Ole was smiling at the irony.
There has never been a doubt how extremely close the twins are & they have always been very caring and affectionate of each other. However, might be it’s the time now for them to take to different route- the younger one is trying to the right-back pick for United under the new regime of Moyes. On the other hand, Fabio is all set to start up an apparently stalled career in a new place, far away from his younger brother- yet still staying close to his care & attention.
