GIGGS NOT RETIRING

The experienced midfielder of Manchester United Ryan Giggs says he has no plans of retiring despite having turned 40 years old in this week.

“I’m lucky that I have been at one club, where I am surrounded by good players and a good manager. It can be hard sometimes but I am still enjoying it. As long as that is the case I will carry on.”

Ryan Giggs added: “I still want to do well in every game, want to win trophies and my focus needs to be on that. I don’t know what the younger lads think of me. “When I was 17 and 18 I thought 31 were ancient. And here I am at 40!”

The 40 years old player of Manchester United played an influential role in his clubs’ latest Champions League match as he provided the assist for Nani’s goal that concluded the match with a comfortable 5-0 victory for the English team and even received praised from the opposition as they were surprised seeing a player of that age playing at such a high level. The latest football betting is that Giggs will carry on for at least another season!

As David Moyes is preparing his wish-list for the January transfer window it has been reported that he sent his assistants to keep a closer eye on Dortmund’s Marco Reus who has been receiving praise and becoming a bigger target for European clubs since some seasons ago but the German club has not been interest in releasing him and Moyes is hoping that this time around they can change their mind.

Being capable of playing on either wings, Reus is a versatile attacker that can add depth to the squad of Moyes and play alongside the duo consisting of Van Persie and Rooney.
