FERGUSON BLAMES INEXPERIENCE
Alex Ferguson has blamed the inexperience of his side for the loss against Kansas City Wizards, but expects players like Rafael da Silva to come good - especially with his family supporting him from the Manchester United Hospitality Tickets.
The Red Devils, who began with Ben Amos in goal and had a back four of Rafael da Silva, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans and Ritchie De Laet, were undone by two first-half goals either side of Dimitar Berbatov’s penalty.
RAFAEL DA SILVA KNOWS FANS EXPECTATIONS
Manchester United fullback Rafael da Silva knows there's great expectations on himself and twin brother Fabio.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson expects both players to be big stars at Old Trafford.
And Rafael Da Silva said: "The night before I first moved here, I never slept. I was wondering what would happen. Here everything is different, but we are adapting.
"The pressure is something you feel. It can be daunting, but it also shows people respect you."
RAFAEL PROGRESSING NICELY
At 19 years of age, Rafael has already shown enough potential to have many pundits claiming he may just be the heir-apparent to Gary Neville’s right back slot. With injuries plaguing both Wes Brown- who was mainly used as a centre back anyway and John O’Shea Rafael found himself making sixteen appearances for United last season. While that is actually less than the previous season he has been plunged in at the deep end with mixed results.

Rafael lacking Experience
Rafael da Silva's sending-off against Bayern Munich, which ultimately cost Manchester United the chance of a Champions League semi-final place, showed there is no substitute for experience.
Freshness over tired limbs was the selection criteria but it backfired as Rafael's immaturity saw him pick up two needless bookings and a red card which left 10-man United up against it.
Neville may have looked jaded in his recent games, but it is unlikely a defender of his stature and know-how would have got himself booked so cheaply on two occasions with such rash conduct.
RAFAEL IS ONE TO WATCH IN 2010
Rafael da Silva – Manchester United, Right back
The Good – A Dani Alves type Brazilian defender who loves to bomb forward in attack, Rafael is a burst of pace and a hard tackle waiting to happen. With Gary Neville facing inevitable retirement sometime in the near future, Rafael could claim the starting right back spot for United.
DA SILVA COMEBACK WENT WELL
Wes Brown believes his return to the Manchester United side went well as he bids to help the Red Devils go on a winning run. The defender played in the 3-1 win at Hull on Sunday after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.
RAFEL DA SILVA WILL BE FIRST CHOICE
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson can see the Da Silva twins being their first-choice fullbacks in a couple of years' time.
Ferguson is excited by the progress of both Rafael and Fabio this season and sees their long-term futures at fullback.
He said: "It is a possibility that, in five years' time, we will have two Brazilians as our first-team full-backs. They have been unfortunate with injuries, but if they get an injury-free run, they will be top players."
PARK DELIGHTED FOR RAFAEL DA SILVA
Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung was delighted to see action in last night's 5-0 thumping of Wigan Athletic.
Park admits he's been frustrated by injury this season and is hoping for an extended first team run in the second-half of the season. The South Korea international was delighted for Rafael da Silva after his goal in the victory.
DA SILVA TWINS TO RETURN
Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to rush Brazilian brothers Fabio and Rafael Da Silva back into his Manchester United line-up for Sunday's trip to Hull.
The teenage duo have both been absent with shoulder problems but as United's defensive problems continue could be unleashed against Phil Brown's men.
Ferguson is crossing his fingers that either Wes Brown (hamstring) or Nemanja Vidic (thigh) are able to play, having expressed confidence they should both be available for the clash with Wigan on December 30.
